i purchased one of these a couple of years back cost me $3200aud and im sad
to say it was complete garbage, or tho the glide is nice, the heads heavy,
the disks cost a fortune, the services cost a fortune, and they require way
to much maintenance

Looks like that could make a hellish task more tolerable.

Makes me wanna try my hand at drywall.

After seeing your video I bought the PLANEX sander. Unfortunately I have
been unable to effortlessly glide it across the ceiling as in the film
clip. It seems to have a mind of its own spinning off in all directions. I
have tried adjusting the speed, vac and the sand paper grit with no luck. I
called the local Festool rep who visited my workshop to see the unit in
action, he too had no answer. We also could not get it to stick to the
ceiling whilst in motion. Could you please help me. John

This is the best sander available, I used couple different sander and they
were not even close to this bad boy, Once I bought it I will never change
it 🙂

I bought one a couple of years ago – made preparation of walls and ceilings
almost enjoyable when compared to hand pole sanding. Get the grit and
suction right for the job in hand and it’ll make your life a whole lot
easier.
