Hi, it was awesome to see the work and end result! Wondering, how much
money would it cost to do this job. – Matereial, minus.. specialty tile
work/ standard is ok. Thanks

Interesting project…..well made video too, pretty self-explanatory. (It’s
not ply: Its OSB outdoor grade sheeting.) Shame about the music though.

Enjoyed looking at the build. I did not understand the music choice. Guess
I am too old to appreciate hip-hop or whatever you call your music choice.

Sir, Brilliant! I’m following your video step-by-step while building my own
bbq/kitchen, and it’s proving immensely instructive and helpful. I’m now
approaching construction of the counter. A few questions if I may: 1. Did
you use regular outdoor plywood sheeting for the counter base? What
thickness? 2. Do I need any kind of protective water-barrier (eg. plastic
sheeting) over the top of the ply, before covering it with cement? 3. How
thick should the counter cement covering be? 2″ – 3″?

theresa b · September 14, 2014 at 5:22 AM

What size tiles did you use?

Angie B · September 14, 2014 at 6:19 AM

I’d like to build one of these for my husband for father’s day. Absolutely
beautiful!
