I tried this to patch a ceiling hole but when I screw the drywall block
into the wood support the drywall block never ends up flush with the rest
of the existing drywall, always finishing on an incline towards one side.
Should I put two wood supports on both sides instead of one in the middle?

I’m here cause I punched a ton of holes on my wall. Pissed off guy that
practices mma isn’t a good mix when you lose your head.

I have a question for anyone who can help me. I am going to fix a hole in
the wall for my mom as a small birthday gift, but I have the “bubble”
textured drywall. I know there are cans of that texture, but what is one
can you recommend to use?

Thanks for taking the time to prepare an excellent video. We have done
some drywall work but it has been several years. you have brought us up to
speed. Great.

Hfs, a lot easier than I thought it would be, thanks!

laeaglin · September 11, 2014 at 12:29 PM

looks easy enough.

LegoGirl1990 · September 11, 2014 at 1:24 PM

Wouldn’t it be easier to cut out a slightly larger square, and then trace
it over the hole?

WithLove · September 11, 2014 at 1:45 PM

Thank you very much ! I was doing push-ups and my heels went through the
drywall making a fuckin hole. Lol :D

That wood support is a pretty ingenious idea.

Props to your Dad for that, even my dad never suggested something like that
when we patched a hole a long time ago, and he knows a ridiculous amount of
shit about Home Improvement.

Great idea.

I used to do all of my own home repairs, but after paying off all of my
credit cards and mortgage using The Dividends Pay My Bills Method (Google
it), I now pay others to do all repairs with my investment dividend income.

Great video! I was worried about attempting this project in my basement on
