thank you for this video, its put me at ease! i work for a contractor doing
little jobs he doesn’t have time for, and because i’m trying to learn about
these things he’s put me on a job where i have to remove the tar paper from
a house, among other things and i’ve never done any roofing before so i’m a
little nervous.

If the tar paper is old and brittle like most you should be able to pull is
up easily after the nails from the shingles are popped out. Those button
cap nails should be easily removed while your popping the nails as well.

Great point my friend! You really need to watch your step when your on a
roof at all times. I use a lot of foam squares to get around on up there.
