Description: Construction of the Wilson Building at the intersection of Ervay and Elm Street. Designed by the Fort Worth firm of Sanguinet & Staats, the Wilson Building is a French Renaissance / Second Empire style building, modeled after the Paris Grand Opera House. The building would eventually open in 1904, with the Titche-Goettinger department store occupying the basement and first two floors of the building.
