The road ahead on the way to Batopilas at the bottom of the Copper Canyon in the state of Chihuahua Mexico.
The road at the lower end of the trip, about 16 km worth, is being upgraded. In the meantime we will have to navigate the construction zone, down to the temporary bridge to cross the Batopilas River and then snake our way long the canyon road across the top of the photo. The upgrade will add a bridge around the corner to eliminate this switchback.
